In class

In my 4th period class right now accounting but it's exams week so were not doing anything today, as our final exam for this class is on Monday. I have 6 exams total and as of now, I've done one and my second one is in about 30 minutes, once I complete these exams I'll be ready for graduationnnn!! :)

I know I got super lazy about blogging, but oh well here goes trying to recap stuff.

Monday when we were supposedly gonna woop Albertson (NY) we ended up getting rocked 3-0, in a game in which they dominated, but I felt good about as I know I played very good, and played as hard as I could with my last game at Miami Fc.

Yesterday we got back into training and it's really a shame how disrespectful people can be. I mean the club Miami Fc helps out with everything (hotels, flights, vans, uniforms, etc.) and we don't have the decency to finish out the year. What am I talking about? I'm talking about the 10-15 players that play all year around and once they sign their full scholarship to a university, the either quit the team or just stop going to practice. I mean our club works our ass of year round to get to the biggest tournaments, and showcases but when we go at the end of the year like this past weekend it's embarrising cause half of our original team doesn't go. I for one will stick it out whether I had a scholarship or not. I say this cause yesterday we had practice just as we always do, but out of our 20 some player roster 8 players showed up. It was discusting, and embarrising. I mean we still trained and had a good session, but it's just sad how it feels as if people use the club to their benefit, but won't give it back. One thing I really liked in particular to me signing my contract with Traffic Sports, is that out of the 100% transfer fee 10% is mine, and out of their 90% they chose on their own to give 5% back to Miami Fc for turning me into the player that they signed, and as a way of showing thanks back to the club.

Whatever I always seem to poor out a lot of inside feelings I'm having into this blog, and it's not cause I'm scared to say it to peoples faces, cause I'll say it, it's just I'd rather worry about me getting as fit, and as strong as I can be before I leave to Brazil. It hasn't really hit me yet that I'm leaving and all but I'm sure when I get to Brazil and after a few weeks of 2-3 a days it'll hit me.

Uhhmmm I've been praying a lot and it's been going super well I feel really good about my relationship with God right now, it's all going pretty good, family is good, everything in life as of now is going right.

If you didn't catch the Champions League Final yesterday between Barca v Man U first of all your gay and second of all to be honest you didn't miss much of game lol. But Messi's goal was sickkk, he was probably the smallest one on the field and he leaped into the air and scored the second goal of the match for Barca to seal the win, and an impressive treble year. As they won all three trophys! Props to the coach (forgot name) but it was his first year and an amazing one!

Oh my trip to Vegas isn't happening anymore :( it got cancelled, as my parents decided it was gonna be too much money...so gay. Butttt we are gonna go on a cruise now instead to where?? idk lol but im sure it'll be an awesome time, and we'll enjoy ourselves. Kind of funny the day I leave is my 1 year and 9 months with my girlfriend thankfully she will be travelling with us on the cruiseeeee :).

So here's my checklist before I leave to Brazil.

Graduate-
Continue to train everyday-
Going away party-
Have a 200+ winning poker session-
Cruise-
Buy my Macbook-
Go to church-

Before I leave I'll see if everything checked in till then....

God Bless !

So far this weekend!

I just spent like 30 minutes straight writing a long ass post, and it somehow got deleted with Rafas gay ass Macbook!!

The post was super long and there's no way in hell I'm in any mood to write, but considering there is nothing to do here I guess I might as well write for people who are as bored as I am and just read.

Well we were set for 3 games this weekend two weak teams then followed by the supposed best team in the country Albertson from NY. My team was travelling up here to Sarasota, FL on Thursday night since we played Friday at 3pm, and the drive is about 3 hours and 1/2. I couldn't travel with my team though since I had lame ass high final exams on Friday early in the morning. So what I did was take my exams, and rush out of my house by 11ish and attempt to make it to the game on time. I was travelling with my little brother who coincidentally has a tournament this weekend in Orlando which he's balling up in, also my girlfriend :) and my parents. We arrived tot he game about 20 minutes before gametime so I got in a rushed warm up, after sitting for 3 hours in the car, I know that it's no excuse by no means do I excuse it for how BAD I played! People somewhat asked me why I couldn't pass the ball right, why I couldn't head the ball, or defend as I regulary do. I searched for reasons why since I played so terrible and wanted to prevent the feeling I had, oh and just to add we lost 1-0 and I got a one game suspension red card. So after degrading myself with comments cursing, myself out and stating in so many different ways how bad I played. I came home opened up my email and read the daily scriptures that my mom sent me, and you have to love the way the Lord works I had some emails from a couple days ago that I didn't read, and it said the following.

When troubles come, it´s not natural to get excited about them. Most people don´t say, "Thank you, Lord, for this overwhelming challenge." You don´t go to the mailbox and joyfully exclaim, "Oh thank God–an unexpected bill!" But notice what happens when we remain joyful during the difficult times–it sets us on a course to maturity so that we can receive everything God has for us.

Remember that the key to growing is how you handle adversity. If you complain, you will remain. If you get negative and sour on life, you won´t pass the test. Promotion is available, but if you don´t count it all joy, you miss out. The good news is that God will give you another opportunity. He can still get you to where you need to be. When somebody offends you, you have to decide that you aren´t going to be upset. When things aren´t going your way, instead of complaining, thank the Lord for an opportunity to grow. Count it all joy so that you can be all God has called you to be!

After reading that I felt happy, and sad, it was a good mixed feeling lol. Ok I was happy cause well God just put me through adversity the US U20 National Team coach went go watch me and I played the worst game of my life, but if I would've handled it correctly I could've been set for promotion, and only God knows what that is. It's not to say I went crazy after my red card, but it's about the way i degraded myself, and just put myself down, when I should've picked myself up. Anyways after reading that I felt good and knew how to handle myself when things don't go quite my way in the future. But I still couldn't understand how I could've played thatttt bad, until I began to pray and God told me what it was I tried to explain it Rafa Centofanti, but he didn't understand maybe he's to slow, or maybe it was a bit confusing, let's see if you people reading this understand.

Well I told Rafa Centofanti bro you know why I played so bad, it's cause I played. He said what'd you mean? I told him you don't get it that when I ball up and play an awesome game it's not me playing it's God playing through me. You see I always pray before every game, and ask God to take over my body and play through me and in return I will give him all the glory. In other words I don't want the glory of everyone saying, oh my God your so sick, how did you do that, teach me blah blah blah, cause if someone were to ask me to teach them I'd tell them honestly work hard stay dedicated and pray. I wouldn't be where I'm at today if it wasn't for God none of us would. But people don't understand that two years ago I was on the B team, of my club cause I wasn't good enough, and all of the sudden I'm going pro?! How?! God!! I started to let him take over my life, and he has done so and in return I'm telling people about him, and to take me as evidence that he can change your life if you dedicate yourself to him. It really frustrates me to see how people will go out of their way to buy and smoke weed, but something that's free and so simple, and nothing bad comes from it only good people are scared of it or won't do it cause it's not "cool". Stop caring of how people perceive you already and start caring about your future! My dream has always been to buy my parents a house, hopefully if God grants me it, in a couple years I can be in Europe glorifying Gods name, and buying my parents a house. Well I've kind of rambled off about the weekend and turned this post into a testimonial post, oh well you don't like it don't read my blog!

Anyways Sunday was the game I had to serve my suspension for my red card. We played Lonestars from Texas. We continued our bad play from our previous game, and scrubbed it even more by allowing a goal in the first 45 seconds of the game. It sucks cause I felt so hopeless on the bench not being able too help me team out. Even more dissapointing with about 20 minutes left in the first half Rafa Faria, got a gay red card that probably wasn't even a red...Oh well what can you do? Thankfully with time running out in the first half David Santamaria scored a nice goal, and put the game at a deadlock of 1-1. The second half although we had 10 players, I think we played better and maintained possesion of the ball, and had a few oppertunities. Unfortunately with about 5 minutes left the Lonestars found there way to the back of the net one more time, and we ended up losing 2-1. It really sucks, especially considering that we are one of the most respected teams in the country, and our image looks awful this weekend. So tomorrow we definitly have to beat top ranked Albertson to regain that baller image we have...God be with us tomorrow.

So for the rest of today I'll be chilling, and hanging out with team have dinner, PRAY & WORSHIP, and have a good sleep and hopefully tear it up tomorrow!

By the way I remember saying way back in Decemeber that Santi Schmid and Chichan were gonna be the future for Miami Fc next year, and their both completley balling up right now. Shout out to Chichan who got invited to play with the "Dream Team" (a team made up of the best players across the country) against the US U17 National Team, and although I didn't go to the game I was told in the one half he played he tore it up and scored a grossssssssss goal, and gave a nasty assist. Props little man keep balling up congrats.

Well that's it for now i'll post again after we ball up, and win tomorrow. Till then.....

God Bless!

Prom Weekend!!

Edit: The first two paragraphs are pretty poker related, along with a talk of me and my friend! After that is Prom Weekened!

So Friday night, day before Prom I decide to go to the Mick (Casino)and play $100one of my good friends Phil.He lives down here but goes to school at the University of Florida, so we barely spend time together and playing poker together while making money is always niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :). Anyways I arrive at the Mick and play after ab out a 30 minute wait. I'm pretty card dead for about and hour but am up $20, with some pretty standard stuff. Then I get 106cc in mid position, UTG player raises to $10 I call and the SB calls as well. $31 pot FLOP: Kh10x6h SB checks UTG bets $15 I make it $45 SB folds UTG puts me all in for $120 I call. He shows AK no heart TURN:Q RIVER:A........................

Ugh so gay. I was pretty frustrated with the beat along with losing about a $250 pot, but I just got up and left and said good game. After that it was kind of late, so I decided to go home. Phil texted me after and said he lost $60 as well. So overall it was a frustrating night. Though after Phil, and I had a really intresting discussion, how the money we had previously made from poker although we did treat ourselves with it, with gifts and stuff, we donated a lot of it to back to poker not cause we suck just primarily bad beats or unlucky whatever it's apart of the game. But anyways way back when Phil and I first met we both talked about everything and we still do. Anyways we agreed that all of the money we made from poker that we cashed out from online or made live we would give 10% back to God. Now there were different ways of doing this for example you can give to a charity, give it to the church, pay for a strangers gas, etcc etcc. Whatever God puts in your heart. BUT it can't benefit you for example like giving your friend money to play poker and him giving you a percentage of what he makes. Not giving to God! So anyways still owe God money, and I feel terrible I won $500 and still haven't paid him back. So I need to give him $50, in what way I'm gonna do it I still haven't decided. Wow im rambling lol the point was that Phil, and I both need to stay in agreement with what we said we'd do and pay God back, that way he will bless us when we play poker and when we win, he'll receive fruits from our labor! Sorry for rambling so much!

Now saturday I went out got my tape up for my hair, ate crap for a bit, then after I went to the Fountaine Bleau to check in with my brother. The lobby of the hotel is amazing it self the colors everything is sick sick sick! So our room was suppose to be a connected room, but they didn't have any availabe yet we reserved it?!?!?! So after a good 30 minutes of bitching, we get an upgrade :) I'll take it! We end up with a beautiful 3 room suite! Chcek the pictures!!!

Anyways after all the crap, it was welllllllllllllllllll worth it! So at 7ish we get ready for prom and I will show one picture of my girlfriend and I! We decided it was pointless to rent a limo for prom, when I have a nice car as it is <---- not to brag but I have been told! So anyways we get to the Prom and I must say it was a very beautiful, and well done prom, I had a great time with all my friends dancing jumping up and down! So we left prom at about 11:30 to get a jump on the traffic and head ot to the after partiessssssssssssss! We get back to the hotel shower change, and head out around 12:50ish-1am, we go to our friend's Stephanie's telly and it wasn't all that great not to say it was bad, but it was very chill, and I wanted to wile out!! So then after we drive to another telly this is a penthouse so it seems really good on our way up the stairs though, their is some 25yr oldish guy being held by security he starts to bitch at us as he is beyond drunk and claims were following him to his room. So we wait till they lock him up in his room and proceed, when we open the door, and get in they tell us be very quiet people are complaining and we must even walk slowly our the might kick everyone out?!?! Sighhhhhh this telly was not the greatest there was no music everyone was in little groups, and I was dissapointed at the time we leave this telly it's about 3am were all starving and upset with how bad the after parties were at least for our expectations! We get pizza and end up falling asleep at about 4:30am.

Sunday morning can't honestly remember the time we wake up at but my girlfriend my brother and his girlfriend and I all have a great big breakfast that room service delivers cause were so baller like that at least for this weekend haha! After breakfast we get showered up and head down to the sickkkk pool, we chill have some water relax hit the pool, tan, and recover from our sleepless night so to speak lol. After that we went to the lincoln road mall, and walked around got some subway met up with our friend Chris who spent the rest of the weekend with us well at least sunday lol. After that we went back to the room, got hungry again, got some chicken kitchen, and relaxed for about an hour. Afterwards we all got chilled and watch the Magic v Celtics game 7! To spice up the night we each picked a player for exmaple if you chose Ray Allen everytime he scored you take a shot, or if you chose Rondo it would be everytim he assisted or stole the ball. etcc etcc. My player was Rondo and okay he just decided to get a million assists, lol after about 40 minutes and us getting pretty tipsy, we chose a new game and played Simon Says. Someone is Simon and whoever loses takes a shot and then becomes Simon it was pretty hilarious, and we got even more drunk. Not to the point where we didn't know what we were doing but to the point where were all happy, regardless of what's going on lol. After we decide to head downstairs, and just look for something to do although it's Sunday. On our way to go walk to the beach we see Courtney Kardashian (below is a picture of her) yeah she looked good, but she didn't turn when we called her although her entire possee did, so I don't like her anymore! Lol so after walking around were completely exhausted from no sleep, drinking, and just too much walking all day. We go back upstairs and call it a night.

Monday morning now, I wake up and fight with my freaking girlfriend cause I wanted to go to school to not be absent, and she wanted me to stay and after telling me I'd "make her the happiest girl in the world if i stayed" anddddddddddddddd I couldn't resist, so I stayed and made her the happiest girl in the world cause I'm so nice :)! We headed down to the pool relaxed all day and came back home around 2ish, oh yeah we also saw Dennis Rodman but when I was gonna say something
he went to the bathroom oh well....Well pretty much came back I'm exhausted now from typing as I had practice earlier, and I felt really good the way I was playing on the field, so yeah now I'm home and have 12 days left till I graduateeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :) Peace everyone andddd

God Bless !!

Prom, and Vacation!!

Right now it's been a pretty stressful day to say the least last night I went out to The Cove; a club, and it was alright but it definitly was not a smart idea to drink, go to sleep late, and have to wake up early for school! Lol fortunately I didn't have a hungover and woke up ok....After school I had to go to Mr.Tux to get my suit for prom which is tomorrow (all hispanics leave everything to the last second) as the case was with me it seemed the whole world was in there doing the same thing I was, and it took about and hour just to get my effing suit! I must admit it though it looks ballerrrrrr....haha, ok so then after that I just had to stop at the florist, and I can come relax at home, but no of course the florist lady had our things wrong and it took a good 30 minutes I'd say to pick up a freaking flower that was suppose to be ready!!

But I remembered God's verses in the bible when he speaks about not letting anyone take away the joy I've given you that's why whether it be with a situation as today, my girlfriend, my friends, a bad beat! haha or anything else that may normally get me angry, I'll just chill, and when you do, you feel actually very happy.

But anyways my prom is tomorrow it'll be held at Parrot Jungle in South Beach, and following that we've rented a 2 room suite at the Fountain Bleu which is a ballerrrr hotel with ballerrrr clubs just a note P.Diddy has partied at the clubs! So yeah I'll be staying there with my girlfriend Maria, along with my brother Diego, and his girlfriend Crissy. We plan on spending the whole weekend there relaxing, hanging out, and just having an amazing timeeee! Hopefully everything goes according to plan!

Now for some exciting news....As my graduation present my parents have decided to take me to Las Vegas the whole family including my girlfriend!! I know I know, I'm not 21 but my brother and I look like twins and I been using his ID since I was 15. So what we plan on doing is (going into a club or sitting down at a poker table whatever the case is) he going in first then I'll use his passport and go in like 20 minutes later. Perfect plan!! Hahaha, so I'm super excited for this, as while I'm over there the WSOP will be taking place I hope too see some big pros and take some pictures, while also grinding some cash games, and being able to see some amazing shows, and eat some awesome food!! Woohhoooooo so excited! Were going for like 4-5 days, and will be staying at the Mandalay Bay below are some pictures it's pretty amazing!

So yeah that's what upcoming in my life! After I get back from Vegas I'll have about a week with my family, and then I'm off to Brazil to live my dream :) such blessings I'm receving! Well that's all for now I might go play at the Mick tonight one last time with my boy Phil from UF he's a great player and a grinder hopefully I can make it and we make some moneyyyyy. So for now everyone take care, and remember don't let anyone take away the joy that God has given you, the power of God is stronger!!

God Bless !!!

The wholeeeee weekend!

Well the weekend starts on Friday, and unfortunately we had to train as we were preparing to play the US National team on Saturday. So after being exhausted from practice I came home to find that my mom left me money to go out with my wonderful girlfriend on our 20 month anniversarry!

We went out and celebrated it at Devito's on South Beach a great Italian Restaurant kinda pricy but hey it's 20 months I think it's well worth it! After that we hung out and had a good time then after that she ended up sleeping at my house :)

Next day I woke up early probably like at 9ish type of thing...And though it was my game against the US National Team U17 that day at 3:00PM, it was more importantly my little brother birthday who was turning 12! So for his birthday we were gonna throw him a party but his gift was what he asked for which was a Metro PCS phone.

So after breakfast, shower, prayer (usual morning routine) I headed towards Il Bambino an Italian restaurant where the team was meeting for lunch. Lunch was nice with all 24 players there including the coaches everyone ate pasta with water, except the coaches who had a beer or something lol. After lunch we headed to the locker rooms to chill, relax, talk strategy/lineup, and get ready for the game!!

After all warm ups, the game was set to begin and there were probably close to 500 people in attendance pretty crazy considering it was just a regular game that meant nothing....sorta lol. My representatives of my contract Traffic Sports were there who were Fernando Claviho, Luis Muzzi, and the President of Traffic Sports! Anyways to the game now, the first 5 minutes we attacked and had about 3 shots and even hit the post! After that, the game became a chess match with both teams attempting to attack, but we and they alike were very well positioned defensivly and neither team could really create any chances on goal. That is until about 8 minutes left in the game and we had a corner kick the ball came in and I went up for a header and missed it by about 5 inches!! Would have been a goal, but agh it happens. The game ended in a draw 0-0. They were not all that great, though they did have a number 13 who was very fast, and good on the ball.

So after that we (family) all came back home, to relax before Mono (little brother) birthday party started...It was fun with cake, playing basketball, eaing my dad's awesome BBQ steak, and just hanging out with the family. At about 9ish Meme and I left for the evening to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, overall about a 45 minute drive. We get there a bit passed 10pm and enjoy ourselves to a bike ride to the poker room, drop a buy in pretty quickly make it back in Blackjack along with some $57 profit so a mehhh night lol. Get back at home at 1:30AM and completely knock out!!

Sundayyyyyyyy Happy Mothers Day! :) Was pretty chilling, woke up really earlyyyyy after an exhuasting day yesterday, and again didn't get a good night's sleep. My mom woke up me up thanking me for the watch my family and I got her, it was a watch she had been wanting for like over a month now, and was so in love with it, and weeeeeeeeeeeee got it for her! After we all got showered and headed to church together, it was a nice service, and made me feel good inside I must say I really miss church and don't feel like I go enough...=/ After church, everyone went their separte ways, and I chose to go home and rest. The rest of the day is pretty uneventful until abuot 8 went my grandparents from my mothers side arrive here!! They live in Colombia and will be staying with us for 6 months! So we catch up with our grandparents while watching game 4 of the Celtics V Magic game, and wowowowowowow what a finish! Glen "Big Baby" Davis hit a buzzer beater to win the game in exciting fashion, it has been a trul remarkable playoff as of now especially for the Celtics! Wow this is getting a little too long for me....lol not used to typing his much =x

Uhmmmm today I have no practice back to Soccer tomorrow,a training hard again...So yeah everything in life is going pretty splendid as of now, oh yeah and I have my prommmmmm this weekend hopefully it goes amazingggg :) Well take care everyone, and as always

God Bless !!

I'm a professional soccer player!

That's right I signed my first professional soccer contract!!! And before I even go into anything I must give all thanks, and Glory to God, for if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be anywhere near where I'm at today! It's quite breathtaking to know 2 years ago I was said not to be good enough to be on my A team (I was on the B team), I was told I'd never go to a division 1 soccer program, I was doubted and told I was too slow, and now all of the sudden I'm going pro it's all happened so fast... And I know that I'm not the best or the fastest or the strongest, but I do know that with God on my side I can accomplish things people think aren't possible. But I have a big God so why not have big dreams!

Anyways thankfully today I left school early to head out to the meeting at my house with the two representatives of Traffic which are Fernando Claviho, and Luis Muzzi. Too very nice guys, who I would consider more than just soccer friends or buisness partners, I would consider them personal friends. Two very well spoken and kind individuals. So I got home and we spoke about the contract and changed some numbers around in my favor and asked about the vacations back home, etcc etcc. I would go into detail on my contract, but their going to have a press release I believe and don't want me speaking of the numbers yet. So when I'm allowed to those who are intrested can check back in here and see. But just to let you know I get paid a salary, while they pay for my living, food, airfare travel, and all expenses besides those that are personal. So all my salary money is for me to save and spend here in there ;)

So in conclusion (thanking and giving all the glory to God) I have signed with Traffic Sports and now will be heading to Sao Paulo, Brazil on June 15th to begin my soccer career I do think I will continue to blog about my expeierences over there and everything, so here's my opening blog to my new life; A soccer professional my dream. It's unbelievable that I'm going to be allowed to live my dream. I mean so many kids dream of becoming a soccer player, football player, basketball player, and to know I'm one of those kids that have just slightly broke into the professional world feels amazing! But I know this is just the beggining hopefully this is just a stepping stone in a glorious career, and if God permits one day I can be playing in Europe or in a World Cup and you guys can watch me on TV! Lol well kinda tired from all this typing, so let me conclude with this. Don't let anyone tell you, that you can't achieve something especially if you know that you have a God who can change your life in a second. So take careee and God blesss everyoneeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Thank you for you love and support, and prayers S/O to Dughly Medina praying for me up in Canada!!
